Cesenatico is one of few Italian cities that offers the  visitor the possibility to visit an open air museum.
A museum open 24 hours  of 24 and above all a museum absolutely free of charge.

On the water of the canal harbour of Leonardo there you can find instead the museum of the  Marine.
It concerns of a collection of 10 wonderful watercrafts of the  Adriatic Marine tradition such as the Bragazzo, the Bottara, the Trabaccolo and the Topo.
Ships that really ploughed on the Adriatic Sea and that can now be  find exposed, perfectly floating, renewed and embellished by wonderful coloured  veils.

A museum that becomes wonderful in the month of December, when the  ships are set up with a wonderful nativity scene that renders Christmas in Cesenatico a special event.

Always on the canal harbour the land version of  the museum is present: in a shining and welcoming building the wonderful collection of objects of the marine tradition are contained that accompany you,  also thanks to efficient multimedia contents, on a suggestive trip in the name  of the sea and the fishing.
